1) USAF Special Tactics Squadron PJ
The PJs (Pararescuemen) are assigned to the Air Force Special Operations
Command (AFSOC) for combat search and rescue missions. The PJs along
with the Combat Controllers make up the USAFs elite Special
Tactics Squadron. The PJs job is to locate the downed pilot,
protect him, give emergency medical treatment, and assist him to escape
to a safe recovery site.
2) KSK Crisis Reaction Force
Germanys version of the SAS, the Kommando Spezialkräfte
is not only an anti-terrorist force but more accurately a unit of
the German armed forces to deal with special situations. Unlike the
GSG-9, the KSK has the resources to conduct complex operations worldwide,
even on hostile soil.

demolition and sniping, hostage/rescue operations.
