Our war correspondents Carl Schulze and Yves Debay traveled to Iraq in December 2003 and brought us a 2-volume photo report of the coalition forces maintaining peace there.

Volume 2 covers the AOR North Central controlled by 4th Infantry Division, the new Stryker Brigade, 1st Armored Division in Baghdad, the Convoy Routes, and AOR South East controlled by the Multinational Division (South East).

The 4th Infantry Division operated in the dangerous Sunni Triangle and suffered many casualties during their rotation in Iraq. This report features the striking power of the Ivy Division, with sharp photos of the M1 Abrams and M2 Bradleys, supported by M113s and Avengers.

The newly formed IBCT has its operational debut in Iraq. The Arrowhead Brigade is equipped with the brand new eight wheeled M1126 Stryker IAV. 65 Strykers in different variants make up the strike force of the IBCT. The report is packed with superb photos of the Stryker vehicles in action during Operation Ivy Blizzard.

The AOR of the 1st Armored Division is in Baghdad. To maintain a low profile, the Old Ironsides employed infantry in patrol duties inside the city. This report focuses the infantry and their HMMWVs.

The authors traveled all over Iraq along the many convoy routes and brought us photos of different American units in convoy and escort duties, as well as destroyed Iraqi armored vehicles.

The MND (SE) chapter concentrates on the British 9th/12th Royal Lancers, The Light Infantry, the RAF Regiment; the Danish contingent, the Italian Sassari Brigade, and the Dutch contingent. Photos feature the armor and equipment of these coalition forces.
