1) Challenger 2 MBT
The 2003 Gulf War Operation "Telic" was the true baptism
of fire for the British Army's Challenger 2 MBT. Not a single Challenger
2 was lost to enemy fire. The Challenger 2 is a combat-proven main
battle tank and the article contains striking photos of the tank in
action, including detail shots of ammunition, TOGS, BMEA dozer. Photos
also showing the Challenger 2 operating in Iraq.
2) 2d "Dagger" Brigade in "Mountain Guardian"
The 2d Brigade Combat Team (Dagger) of the 1st Infantry Division was
prepared for Kosovo peacekeeping duty at CMTC Hohenfels. Around 4200
soldiers from the brigade were involved in the exercise, along with
their Bradleys, M109s and various support vehicles.

US Army's new armored security vehicle for the Military Police, the
M1117 Guardian, was first issued to the 18th MP Brigade in 2000. The
M1117 armored car is capable of operating day or night, in various
terrain conditions, and under all weather and visibility conditions.
4) 1.Panzerdivision in River Assault
The German Bundeswehr's 1st Panzerdivision held exercise "Niedersachsenderby
2001" in the northern German lowlands. Vehicles that were deployed
in the river assault exercise involved M3 Amphibious Bridging System
and some 450 wheeled and 180 tracked vehicles like Leopard 2, Bergepanzer,
Marder, Fuchs, Luchs, M109 and Gepard.
